Salary: $96,000–$107,000 annually

What you will do

• Design and develop reliable electrical systems and components for uranium enrichment technology.
• Conduct systems trades, capture requirements, select components, perform analysis, and create schematics.
• Prototype, bring up, debug, document, and prepare electrical designs for manufacturing and production testing.
• Create development and qualification test campaigns to evaluate hardware reliability.
• Collaborate across disciplines to ensure fielded systems are functional, efficient, manufacturable, and reliable.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a similar discipline.
• Evidence of exceptional ability through projects, a portfolio, or completed products.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems architecture, circuit design, PCBA layout, and/or harness design.
• Ability to perform trade studies and make clear recommendations using engineering fundamentals with incomplete information.
• Ability to work extended hours and weekends when necessary.

Nice to have

• Three or more years of power electronics design experience, including research or extracurricular academic projects.
• Experience developing new hardware, firmware, electromagnetic simulations, or electromechanical integrations.
• Experience in fast-paced, highly technical environments and learning new analysis methods, simulation tools, and circuit topologies.
• Strong technical documentation and proactive communication of progress and risks.
