Communications Intern (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote in the US; candidates in the Chicago, IL metro area may work a hybrid schedule

What you will do

• Support the Communications and Social Media teams with daily tasks and projects.
• Update and maintain the company media page.
• Create content for social media and schedule social media posts.
• Help plan and execute announcements.
• Write content for public relations and internal communications.
• Assist with administrative work, including performance reporting.

Requirements

• Strong desire to learn, professional drive, and dependable work habits.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and strong organizational and planning skills.
• Familiarity with internal and external communications, including employee memos, press releases, and media advisories.
• Experience with copywriting and creating engaging social media content.
• Ability to update website media pages, schedule social media content, and report performance data.
• Basic working knowledge of Google and Microsoft Office products; current enrollment in a related bachelor’s or master’s degree is preferred.
