Public Relations Intern (Post-Graduate)

Location: New York, NY or San Francisco, CA offices; hybrid schedule with in-office attendance required

Salary: $20 per hour for a paid six-month internship

What you will do

• Attend client meetings and turn discussions into actionable next steps.
• Research reporters, blogs, social platforms, trends, and industries to support campaigns.
• Draft pitches, press releases, blog posts, and other communications materials.
• Compile media coverage into client-facing reports and support campaign measurement.
• Conduct customer interviews and assist with case study development.
• Support social media strategy, content creation, digital marketing, and client-team administration.

Requirements

• College degree in PR, communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong writing, editing, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Comfort using social media and digital platforms.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
• Proactive attitude, initiative, and strong interest in PR and communications.
• Must be located within commuting distance of the New York or San Francisco offices for the hybrid internship.

Nice to have

• Background in journalism, English, political campaigns, technology, or marketing.
