Senior Public Relations Manager (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Lead proactive media relations across security, business, and technology press.
• Manage an external PR agency, including scope, priorities, and measurable outcomes.
• Build communications programs for product launches, industry events, and original research.
• Maintain the corporate messaging framework across public channels.
• Develop executive visibility through speaking opportunities, bylines, and media engagements.
• Partner with security and legal on issues and crisis communications preparedness, while measuring share of voice, message pull-through, and sentiment.

Requirements

• Experience leading communications or public relations programs in B2B software, ideally cybersecurity or an adjacent technical category.
• Established press relationships and a track record of earning media coverage.
• Experience managing an external PR agency to measurable outcomes.
• Background in crisis and issues communications in a security-sensitive or regulated environment.
• Strong writing and editing skills, including the ability to produce first drafts.
• Ability to advise senior stakeholders clearly and use data to demonstrate communications impact.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting company repositioning or category creation.
• Familiarity with identity, access management, or AI governance markets.
• Experience supporting creator, influencer, or community programs for technical audiences.
