Workers Compensation Recovery Specialist

Location: Remote

Salary: $21–$26 per hour plus commission

What you will do

• Communicate with responsible parties, attorneys, and insurance carriers by phone and email to resolve claims and secure payment.
• Locate contact information through manual skip tracing, internet research, and claim-document review.
• Generate conversations through a high volume of inbound and outbound calls.
• Manage and prioritize a high-volume account inventory with consistent follow-up.
• Use independent judgment to determine recovery strategies and maintain account work standards.
• Develop files toward timely settlement and negotiate within client authority and state guidelines.

Requirements

• Entry-level applicants with a self-motivated approach and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving, interpersonal, organizational, and customer-service skills.
• Computer proficiency and typing speed of at least 45 words per minute.
• Excellent English communication and telephone skills.
• Ability to perform frequent telephone follow-up and manage multiple accounts.

Nice to have

• Experience in collections or customer service by telephone.
• Insurance industry experience.
• Bilingual communication skills.
