Senior Electronic Security Project Manager (Electronic Security Systems)

Location: United States indicators; frequent travel to client and construction sites is required, with local travel typically within a two-hour driving distance.

What you will do

• Lead the delivery of large-scale electronic security systems from project initiation through closure.
• Manage scope, schedules, budgets, margins, quality standards, risks, and client satisfaction.
• Coordinate implementation and integration of CCTV, electronic access control, intrusion detection, and perimeter security systems.
• Partner with site supervisors, general contractors, design teams, end users, and other stakeholders on work plans, field verification, documentation, and punch lists.
• Coordinate system programming, testing, commissioning, final checkout, client training, and project handover.
• Identify construction and customer risks early, communicate impacts, and implement corrective actions.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of project management experience in commercial construction trades or electronic security systems.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience delivering waterfall schedules to fixed dates while controlling quality and profitability.
• Experience in client-facing roles and with enterprise-level clients.
• Knowledge of PMP methodologies, best practices, construction sequencing, and the application of Agile methods within waterfall programs.
• Valid driver’s license in the state of residence and willingness to travel are required; travel may reach 25%.

Nice to have

• Experience managing large, complex technical projects within an at-scale program.
• Electronic Security Systems experience.
• Certified Security Project Manager (CSPM) certification.
• PMP certification from the Project Management Institute.
