Director, Projects-North America

Location: Hybrid, four days per week in the Fremont, California or Nashville, Tennessee office; United States

Salary: $215,000–$230,000 annual salary for California

Provides intelligent solar tracker, software, structural, electrical, and digital solutions for utility-scale solar power plants.

What you will do

• Lead a team of Project Managers and Senior Project Managers, overseeing performance, development, and customer delivery.
• Manage customer accounts and project portfolios from purchase order through commissioning, owning scope, execution, and outcomes.
• Manage project P&L, including revenue forecasting, invoicing, cash flow, and cost control.
• Coordinate procurement, logistics, freight forwarding, engineering, supply, customers, tools, and project training to support on-time delivery.
• Provide technical and field support for photovoltaic tracking-system installation, quality control, and resolution of non-conformance and construction-deviation issues.
• Establish customer-care KPIs, contribute systems-integration expertise to product teams, and advocate for customer needs across the business.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of combined Project Manager and Senior Project Manager experience in energy, construction, mining, oil and gas, or a relevant industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Strong project management, leadership, customer service, communication, and direct-report management capabilities.
• Experience with supply-chain procurement, logistics, customer support, and operations and maintenance issues.
• Strong knowledge of photovoltaic technology and its applications, with a passion for solar or renewable energy.
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement four days per week from the Fremont or Nashville office.
