Technical Recruiter (AI/ML)

Location: Hybrid in Silicon Valley or New York City, United States

Salary: $160,000–$210,000 per year plus equity

What you will do

• Manage full-cycle recruiting from intake through close across AI/ML, silicon, ASIC, EDA software, forward-deployed engineering, and G&A roles.
• Source and engage specialized, largely passive candidates in AI research, silicon architecture, design verification, physical design, and forward-deployed engineering.
• Partner with hiring managers to define qualifications, technical standards, and candidate calibration.
• Run the WHO Method for talent calibration and maintain interview loops of four to five rounds maximum.
• Own candidate tracking, pipeline flow, reporting, and data hygiene in Ashby.
• Represent hirify.global at industry events such as DAC.

Requirements

• 5+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience.
• Direct recruiting experience for AI/ML, software, ASIC, silicon, semiconductor, research, RTL, design verification, physical design, architecture, or adjacent roles.
• Experience closing senior engineers against competing offers.
• Technical literacy across AI/ML, EDA software, AI silicon, and custom ASIC development.
• Advanced fluency in Ashby or a comparable ATS.
• Operational excellence, low ego, comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to move work forward in a scaling startup.

• Experience recruiting G&A and business operations roles alongside technical searches.
• Experience recruiting for unconventional computing or physics-based hardware architectures.
• Experience in a high-growth venture-backed startup, semiconductor company, or research lab.
