NPI Buyer

Location: Queretaro City, Mexico; professional office environment.

What you will do

• Guide sourcing, planning, and purchasing decisions for new product development.
• Manage materials for development, prototype, and early production requirements in coordination with Design Engineering.
• Handle tactical purchasing activities, including expediting materials, past-due purchase orders, confirmations, receiving, and accounts payable issues.
• Support supplier RFQs by analyzing and negotiating quotations with the NPI Project Manager.
• Source, qualify, and integrate new suppliers while recommending cost savings, alternative sources, and volume pricing.
• Manage the transition from engineering development and production ramp-up to full production.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, economics, supply chain, procurement, engineering, materials management, or logistics.
• 2+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or planning.
• Experience with purchasing and supply chain tools, ERP/MRP systems, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong written, oral, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to influence and improve existing processes.
• Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.
• Applicants must be based in Queretaro City, Mexico.
