Shift Engineer (Electrical Manufacturing)

Location: Tywyn, United Kingdom; onsite role with fixed night shifts on a 4-on, 4-off schedule

Salary: £55,000 per year for night shifts

What you will do

• Lead and coordinate maintenance activities across shifts in a food processing facility.
• Develop the plant preventive planned maintenance program and use root cause analysis to address reactive maintenance tasks.
• Supervise and monitor electrical manufacturing equipment and systems.
• Establish controls for equipment performance and safety, ensuring operations and maintenance meet design specifications.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records in the CMMS and ensure engineering activity is traceable for food safety.
• Support Production Technical Operators with TPM activities and drive continuous improvement opportunities with Production.

Requirements

• Experience supervising, controlling, and monitoring electrical manufacturing equipment and systems.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance, reactive maintenance, root cause analysis, and predictive maintenance practices.
• Ability to maintain equipment safety, operational standards, and compliance with design specifications.
• Experience using a CMMS to record completed and ongoing maintenance tasks.
• Methodical approach to food safety standards and engineering traceability.
• Ability to communicate maintenance progress and collaborate with Production Technical Operators.
