Senior Design System and Product Designer | Operational Journey (Fintech)

What you will do

• Design merchant onboarding, dashboard, activation, and KYC-heavy lifecycle flows.
• Analyze, consolidate, and properly document the existing design system.
• Establish reusable design tokens, components, and patterns for the wider product team.
• Set design standards and guide decisions across the operational journey domain, including developer experience surfaces.
• Provide design critique and mentorship to other designers.

Requirements

• Strong product design craft demonstrated through a portfolio of complex flows made clear and usable.
• Demonstrated systems thinking, including reusable components, tokens, patterns, consistency, and versioning.
• Experience designing clear disclosure and communication for regulated or high-stakes products.
• Ability to work from validated user findings and provide direct, candid critique.

Nice to have

• Experience consolidating or migrating an existing design system.
• Fintech or payments product design experience.
• Front-end literacy.
• Track record of mentoring and developing other designers.
