Lead Product Designer (Fintech)

Location: Onsite, 5 days a week at the NYC headquarters

Base salary: $175,000–$250,000 per year, plus competitive initial equity and refreshers.

hirify.global is building an AI-powered commodity risk-management platform for the physical economy, combining real-time market data, exposure modeling, automated trade generation, monitoring, alerts, and recommendations.

What you will do

• Own core product experiences from customer research and early concepts through polished UI, launch, and iteration.
• Learn complex commodity risk workflows and translate them into clear experiences for users with different roles and levels of market expertise.
• Work directly with founders, engineers, and customers to define product direction and ship solutions based on operating needs.
• Rapidly prototype, test, and validate ideas using Figma and AI tools.
• Design AI-native interactions that balance automation, clarity, trust, and user control.
• Build hirify.global’s design system and maintain a high craft bar across information architecture, dense workflows, typography, spacing, and interaction design.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product design experience, ideally in B2B software, fintech, or other complex products.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating product thinking, interaction design, systems thinking, and polished visual execution.
• Ability to master complex workflows and design coherent experiences for users with different needs and expertise.
• Experience taking products from concept to production through sketching, prototyping, testing, and iteration.
• Strong Figma and design-system skills with clear cross-functional communication.

Nice to have

• Experience with fintech, trading, commodities, risk management, or data-heavy products.
• Experience designing real-time interfaces, data visualizations, or decision-support tools.
• Experience building or maintaining a design system for a growing product.
• Customer interview and usability research experience in complex domains.
• Experience coding and shipping full-stack applications or prototypes, with comfort using Git.
