What you will do
- Productionize and continuously improve photogrammetry and radar image formation pipelines.
- Improve pipeline stages including bundle adjustment, dense matching, point cloud generation, geometric refinement, and geo-referencing.
- Optimize accuracy, robustness, and throughput across 3D processing capabilities.
- Design database schemas and storage solutions for large-scale 3D geospatial data.
- Contribute to data infrastructure, analytics, and systems that deliver satellite data to customers.
- Collaborate with 3D reconstruction scientists, radar algorithms engineers, and product engineers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, with substantial experience in computer vision.
- Strong proficiency in Python and C++.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong foundation in geometric computer vision, including camera modeling, epipolar geometry, stereo, structure-from-motion, multi-view stereo, and bundle adjustment.
- Ability to make high-quality technical decisions and communicate effectively in a startup environment.
Nice to have
- Experience with geospatial concepts, remote sensing, or robotics and autonomous vehicle sensor data.
- Familiarity with digital signal processing, radar algorithms, or SAR concepts.
- Experience with deep learning for 3D vision, including NeRF, 3D Gaussian Splatting, learned feature matching, or depth estimation.
- Experience with C++ or CUDA performance optimization.
- Experience building visualization tools with Cesium, Three.js, or similar technologies.
