VIE Software Engineer (AI)

hirify.global is an air defense deeptech startup developing AI-guided interceptors for drones and cruise missiles, together with the software platform that powers them.

What you will do

• Develop real-time AI inference, computer vision pipelines, sensor fusion, and/or ground control station software.
• Write production-grade Python and/or C++ code across backend, embedded, or AI/ML layers.
• Build and maintain unit tests, integration tests, CI/CD pipelines, and internal engineering tooling.
• Support US client demonstrations, proof-of-concept deployments, field activities, and technical meetings.
• Prepare technical materials and adapt software builds for US client requirements and operational environments.
• Coordinate knowledge transfer, sprint alignment, documentation, and product feedback between New York and Paris.

Requirements

• 0–3 years of experience; recent engineering graduates and early-career software engineers are welcome.
• Current or recently completed degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical field from a top-tier institution.
• Solid foundations in Python and/or C++ with the ability to write clean, readable, and maintainable code.
• Genuine interest in AI, computer vision, real-time systems, or embedded software.
• English fluency is mandatory for work in New York and with US clients.
• French fluency is mandatory because the Engineering team, codebase, and technical documentation use French and English.

• Exposure to defence, aerospace, robotics, or deeptech.
• Proactive, autonomous, curious, and collaborative approach in a fast-moving startup environment.
• Ability to work effectively across time zones.

Hiring process
