Instructional Designer & Trainer

Location: Onsite in Scottsdale, Arizona, with an expectation of working in the office four days per week. Candidates should be based in the Scottsdale area or be willing to relocate.

What you will do

• Lead new-hire onboarding cohorts from kickoff through graduation across Sales, Support, Professional Services, and other teams.
• Design, write, maintain, and deliver onboarding curricula, guides, job aids, practice scenarios, and knowledge checks.
• Teach platform fundamentals and help new hires connect product features to customer needs.
• Run role plays, hands-on exercises, skills assessments, and readiness certification before employees begin live customer work.
• Manage LMS operations, including configuration, permissions, course publication, assignments, content maintenance, and AI-enabled learning features.
• Track completion, assessment scores, certification results, engagement, compliance, and time to productivity, reporting trends and gaps to the L&D team.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in training delivery, onboarding, instructional design, enablement, sales, support, or another customer-facing role, ideally in B2B SaaS or technology.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Instructional Design, Education, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience teaching or presenting to groups both in person and through Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or a similar platform.
• Strong written communication, organization, project management, and ability to explain technical information to beginners.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, plus interest in learning the platform in technical depth.
• Must work onsite in Scottsdale, Arizona, four days per week, and be based in the area or willing to relocate.

Nice to have

• Experience running new-hire onboarding or bootcamp programs and working with an LMS such as Docebo.
• Experience with Articulate Storyline, Rise, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, or similar authoring tools.
• Familiarity with UCaaS, CCaaS, VoIP, IVR, call routing, reporting, and integrations.
• Background in B2B sales, sales engineering, or technical support.
• Instructional design, adult learning, ADDIE, video editing, graphic design, or Adobe Creative Suite experience.
