Senior Software Engineer (Embedded C/C++)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for ARM 64/32-bit processors and microcontrollers, from bootloaders to C/C++ Linux applications.
• Bring up new hardware platforms by developing drivers, integrating peripherals, and implementing board-level diagnostics.
• Optimize embedded software for performance, memory usage, and power consumption in resource-constrained environments.
• Troubleshoot and debug embedded systems using tools such as logic analyzers and GDB.
• Define software architecture, maintain technical documentation, conduct unit testing, and support functional and performance requirements.
• Collaborate with embedded, QA, factory test, hardware, RF modem, and cloud teams while mentoring junior engineers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience delivering embedded solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Expertise in C and modern C++ programming, plus proficiency in Python.
• Strong Embedded Linux and microcontroller experience, including SoC bootstrapping, device trees, device drivers, and firmware image build systems such as Yocto or Buildroot.
• In-depth knowledge of SPI, UART, I2C, GPIO, and low-level hardware/software interaction.
• Experience developing on Linux workstations, with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
