Salary: $124,800 - $187,200 USD

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality embedded software for medical devices using C/C++ and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (HW, Systems, QA) to define product needs and implement technical solutions.
• Implement comprehensive testing strategies, including unit, integration, and automated acceptance tests.
• Maintain a robust CI/CD pipeline for automated testing, builds, and deployments.
• Ensure compliance with medical device regulations such as IEC 62304, IEC 82304, and FDA standards.
• Provide technical leadership from concept generation through market release.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Computer/Software/Electrical Engineering (or related) with 4+ years of experience, or an advanced degree with 2+ years.
• Proficiency in C/C++ programming and at least one scripting language (e.g., Python).
• Experience working within an embedded Linux environment.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex embedded software issues.
• Unrestricted U.S. work authorization is required at the time of hire.

Nice to have

• Experience with GTest/GMock, TDD, and static analysis tools like Coverity.
• Knowledge of Docker containerization and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
• Experience developing GUIs, preferably using QT.
• Familiarity with medical design controls (ISO 13485), risk analysis (ISO 14971), and SDLC.
• Experience with microcontrollers, SPI, I2C, and tools like logic analyzers and oscilloscopes.
