Research Associate / Senior Research Associate, Cell Biology (Biotech)

Salary: $72,000–$106,000 annually, depending on experience.

What you will do

• Culture cell lines and expand primary cells to support cell assay workflows.
• Run 96-well cell-based assays for therapeutic targets in collaboration with assay scientists.
• Use liquid-handling robots for medium- to high-throughput screening of small-molecule hits.
• Record experiments in an electronic notebook, analyze data, and communicate results.
• Support the organization and maintenance of laboratory equipment and workspaces.

Requirements

• BSc with 3+ years of research experience in immunology, oncology, or a related field.
• Extensive hands-on experience with cell culture.
• Extensive experience with 96-well plate-based cell assays, including reporter assays, gene expression, qPCR, or ELISAs.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills in a collaborative research environment.
• Technical proficiency, troubleshooting ability, and a track record of delivering high-quality data.

Nice to have

• Background in drug discovery.
• Experience with primary cell isolation, differentiation, and culture.
• Experience with flow cytometry.
