What you will do

• Design, execute, and own phage display campaigns from library construction through panning and hit validation.
• Develop selection strategies for soluble antigens and difficult membrane-protein targets, including GPCRs.
• Build diverse display libraries using cloning, mutagenesis, and molecular assembly.
• Run affinity and functional characterization using flow cytometry, ELISA, SPR, and related assays.
• Partner with computational and ML colleagues to generate, structure, and quality-control datasets for model training and evaluation.
• Mentor associate scientists and contribute to technical standards, reports, presentations, and method documentation.

Requirements

• PhD in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology, Protein Engineering, or a related field, plus 2–4 years of relevant industry experience.
• Significant hands-on experience with antibody or protein discovery by phage display, including library design, panning, selection, and hit validation.
• Strong molecular biology skills in cloning, mutagenesis, and library assembly.
• Hands-on flow cytometry (FACS) experience is required, including data interpretation and gating strategies.
• Experience independently running campaigns and troubleshooting challenging targets; membrane-protein experience is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of antibody characterization assays, mammalian cell culture, experimental design, documentation, and scientific communication.

Nice to have

• Experience with SPR, BLI/Octet, alternative display formats, or lab automation.
• Working knowledge of Python or R for large-dataset analysis.
