Procurement Engineer

What you will do

• Research potential suppliers and assess their alignment with quality and reliability standards.
• Support supplier contract management by tracking key dates, monitoring compliance, and helping resolve issues.
• Process purchase orders accurately and ensure alignment with budgets and departmental needs.
• Maintain organized records of purchase orders, contracts, and procurement correspondence.
• Coordinate with engineering, R&D, and finance teams to support timely delivery of materials and services.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of procurement processes and documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate across departments in a team-oriented environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Basic understanding of procurement or supply chain principles.

Nice to have

• Prior internship or part-time experience in procurement, operations, or supply chain.
• Exposure to procurement software platforms or tools.
