Procurement Specialist

Location: On-site in Portland, Oregon, United States. Relocation assistance is available if needed.

Salary: $80,000–$110,000 annually, plus equity.

What you will do

• Develop sourcing strategies, prepare and manage purchase orders, and coordinate the full purchasing lifecycle.
• Source and quote new materials and services in collaboration with engineering teams.
• Conduct price and cost analysis to ensure competitive pricing.
• Identify and resolve material shortages, pricing discrepancies, and supply chain issues.
• Manage supplier onboarding, compliance setup, performance monitoring, and delivery against program milestones and quality standards.

Requirements

• 3+ years of procurement experience in a high-complexity manufacturing environment.
• In-depth understanding of procurement processes and supply chain management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field, or equivalent education and professional experience.
• Experience using an ERP system to manage procurement workflows.
• Ability to work on-site in Portland, Oregon, or relocate there.

Nice to have

• Experience managing Engineering Change Orders in a fast-paced, high-mix R&D or production environment.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles in a supply chain context.
• Experience collaborating with engineering departments on procurement specifications, supplier evaluation, and specialized component sourcing.
