What you will do

• Maintain, repair, test, adjust, install, and remove electrical, communication, control, and measurement equipment at refinery facilities.
• Read blueprints, process schematics, and one-line diagrams to install circuits, outlets, load centers, and other electrical equipment.
• Troubleshoot industrial electrical systems, motors, PLCs, instrumentation, switchgear, breakers, pumps, actuators, and related equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance, including equipment disassembly, cleaning, reassembly, calibration, and testing.
• Update CMMS records, maintain asset history, prepare control reports, and recommend improvements to maintenance programs and processes.
• Coordinate with management, engineers, mechanics, supervisors, and equipment operators to address hazards and support safe refinery operations.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in electronics, electrical technology, instrumentation, or a related technical field is preferred, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of experience as an operations or maintenance technician, or previous electronics experience, is preferred.
• Experience testing, setting up, troubleshooting, and maintaining electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, control, and instrumentation equipment.
• Ability to read schematics, one-line diagrams, technical orders, and manufacturer specifications; calculate electrical circuit loads; and understand power distribution systems.
• Knowledge of electrical codes, pipeline and facility layouts, equipment capabilities, safety and environmental regulations, and safe work practices.
• On-site work in East Texas is required.

• Experience in hydrometallurgy, mining, or battery material production.
