Senior Staff Commodity Manager (Robotics)

Location: Onsite at the Waltham office in Waltham, Massachusetts, United States

Salary: $116,479–$192,887.54 annually

What you will do

• Own global commodity strategies for complex categories across multiple robotics product lines.
• Lead supplier selection, negotiations, contracting, and long-term supplier performance management.
• Use market intelligence, cost modeling, and total cost of ownership analysis to guide sourcing decisions.
• Partner with engineering, manufacturing, planning, and quality on design-for-supply-chain and make-vs-buy initiatives.
• Support new product introductions through timely and cost-effective sourcing of critical components.
• Identify and mitigate geopolitical, financial, capacity, and compliance risks across the global supply base.

Requirements

• 7+ years of progressive experience in sourcing, procurement, or commodity management.
• Experience with global sourcing, supplier strategy, negotiations, and multi-site operations.
• Background with complex electromechanical or robotics components such as actuators, sensors, machined parts, or motion control systems.
• Proficiency with ERP and procurement tools such as SAP, Oracle, or Coupa.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a related field.
• Professional certification such as CPSM, CPIM, or CSCP.
