Location: Santa Clara, California, United States. Full-time onsite position requiring satisfactory proof of the right to work in the United States and authorization to access export-controlled technology.
Base pay range: $205,740–$251,460 per year, plus potential variable or incentive compensation and equity.

What you will do
- Develop and deploy power analysis flows and models for collecting and analyzing IP power consumption.
- Correlate power models with RTL and silicon measurements.
- Build power models for architecture exploration and development.
- Develop methods to predict the power impact of design changes.
- Guide architecture, design, and physical design teams toward energy-efficient IP.
Requirements
- MS or PhD in computer science or computer architecture.
- 5+ years of experience in power benchmarking, analysis, and modeling.
- Experience assessing power impacts at the architecture, logic design, and circuit levels.
- Strong knowledge of high-performance out-of-order CPU architecture and ASIC power analysis and optimization.
- Experience guiding performance-versus-power trade-offs to reach optimal designs.
- Competency in maintaining and refactoring large object-oriented codebases; hardware or software development experience is a plus.
