Staff Product Engineer (AI)

Location: London, hybrid; UK remote also available

Salary: £135,000–£170,000 per year

What you will do

• Provide technical leadership for a critical area of engineering and design significant infrastructure components across teams.
• Set standards for building and operating robust, maintainable, reliable, scalable, and secure software.
• Mentor and coach engineers while supporting hiring and the development of technical leaders.
• Resolve complex product issues by balancing technical trade-offs with customer and business value.

Requirements

• First-class technical execution skills and the ability to think in systems.
• Experience with distributed, cloud-native systems and designing interfaces that enable teams to work in parallel.
• Proven technical leadership delivering complex projects through others and decomposing them into independently owned goals.
• Strong understanding of how architecture affects delivery and long-term system maintenance.
• Demonstrated impact through mentoring, coaching, and hiring.
• Product and customer focus, including using data to guide product decisions.
