REEV Function Integration & Software Planning, Specialist (Automotive)

Location: Novi, Michigan, United States; hybrid attendance with 4–5 days per week in the office and occasional business travel.

Salary: $110,000–$135,000 annual base salary, plus eligibility for an annual performance bonus.

hirify.global is developing electrified, digitally enabled pickup trucks and rugged SUVs, including all-electric and Harvester range-extender powertrains.

What you will do

• Support powertrain and drive-system integration for all-electric pickup trucks and rugged SUVs.
• Review software functions, identify gaps, and recommend improvements within the assigned REEV feature scope.
• Execute and coordinate drive-system integration and testing plans within defined system architecture and program objectives.
• Collaborate with concept architects, calibration, testing, and systems teams to provide technical input and resolve engineering issues.
• Coordinate prototype and serial development activities, including software availability, partner alignment, and test planning.
• Manage the assigned REEV feature scope through integration and release milestones, including hands-on prototyping and software implementation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, technology, IT systems, or engineering technology; electrical engineering is preferred.
• 5+ years of concept engineering or serial development experience in the automotive industry, preferably involving platforms, variants, module selection, and modification.
• Experience with drive-system software and function development, integration, system engineering, and release processes.
• Advanced project steering and coordination skills, with the ability to independently manage a defined drive-system scope.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, collaboration, ownership, and self-management skills.
• Ability to work from the Novi office 4–5 days per week and travel for company events when required.
