Lead Recruiter (AI)

What you will do

• Own full-cycle recruiting across go-to-market and technical roles, from role definition through offer close.
• Partner with hiring managers and leadership on role scope, leveling, success criteria, headcount planning, and hiring priorities.
• Design structured, high-signal interview processes and drive interviewer calibration for consistent hiring decisions.
• Build proactive talent pipelines through sourcing, referrals, and network mapping focused on top-quartile candidates.
• Use funnel metrics, market intelligence, compensation data, and competitor insights to improve hiring performance and business decisions.
• Shape the employer brand and deliver a high-touch, high-integrity candidate experience.

Requirements

• 8+ years of full-cycle, in-house recruiting experience in high-growth B2B SaaS or AI environments.
• Experience recruiting across both go-to-market and technical roles.
• Strong understanding of talent assessment, interview design, hiring standards, and proactive sourcing.
• Genuine AI fluency and an understanding of how AI can improve recruiting processes.
• Ability to operate autonomously in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and build or improve recruiting systems.
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders, using recruiting data, and working with Ashby or a comparable ATS.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with AI sourcing, screening, or recruiting operations tools.
• Experience recruiting in the New York AI and technology market or hiring candidates moving from consulting or professional services into technology.
• Founding-recruiter experience, employer-brand or talent-marketing exposure, and experience with compensation benchmarking and leveling.
