Corporate FP&A Manager (Automotive)

What you will do

• Lead the company-wide Annual Operating Plan and rolling forecast across all business segments and functional departments.
• Deliver monthly financial analysis and variance commentary within seven business days after accounting close.
• Prepare executive dashboards, KPI summaries, management reporting packages, and Board-level materials.
• Build and manage the FP&A team by recruiting, coaching, and developing junior analysts.
• Improve FP&A processes, financial models, reporting systems, and automation, including the EPM platform rollout.
• Partner with Accounting, HR, Legal, IT, and China-based finance counterparts on consolidated reporting, budgeting, and cross-border coordination.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5–10 years of FP&A or corporate finance experience, including at least two years in a lead or manager capacity.
• Experience owning a full planning cycle covering budgeting, forecasting, and close reporting.
• Strong financial modeling, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
• Advanced Excel and strong MS Office proficiency.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, lead through ambiguity, and design new processes in a build-and-improve environment.

Nice to have

• Public or PE-backed company experience, including familiarity with reporting cadence and financial controls.
• MBA, CPA, or CMA.
• Experience with SAP, modern EPM platforms, Power BI, Tableau, or financial dashboard development.
• Experience with or interest in AI/LLM-augmented FP&A workflows, including automated variance commentary, natural-language P&L Q&A, and forecast automation.
• Automotive, robotics, or technology-driven industry experience; business proficiency in Mandarin Chinese is a plus.
