What you will do

• Lead performance, accountability, coaching, and organizational design across five engineering managers and a Principal Engineer.
• Partner with Finance to automate billing, reduce manual work, and improve billing accuracy.
• Own delivery of a standalone Transportation Management System developed with the Parcel team, balancing cost savings with future revenue opportunities.
• Drive the Labor Management System roadmap toward measurable reductions in warehouse cost-to-serve.
• Own the technical health, reliability, performance, technical debt, and roadmap of the Warehouse Management System supporting live fulfillment operations.
• Build strong working relationships with Finance, Parcel, warehouse operations, and other cross-functional partners.

Requirements

• Strong engineering background with enough depth in R&D processes, programming languages, and technologies to engage in technical decisions.
• Experience managing managers across a multi-team engineering organization.
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems directly and make difficult organizational, technical, and performance decisions.
• Track record of delivering measurable business outcomes such as cost savings, revenue growth, or improved delivery predictability.
• Strong communication, ownership, delegation, judgment, and ambiguity-navigation skills.
• Ability to guide AI-assisted development while maintaining software quality and independent technical judgment.

Nice to have

• Experience in logistics, supply chain, fulfillment, or another high-throughput operational domain.
• Experience partnering with Finance on billing, invoicing, or revenue-critical systems.
• Experience scaling engineering organizations across multiple countries or regulatory environments.
• Knowledge of transportation, parcel, carrier, warehouse labor management, or net-new platform systems.
• Experience in high-growth, PE- or VC-backed environments.
