TL;DR

Director, Engineering (AI-accelerated software delivery): Owning end-to-end delivery, technical health, architecture, and business outcomes for a portfolio of greenfield and modernized products with an accent on AI development agents, shared platforms, and enterprise data lake capabilities. Focus on leading managers and engineers, designing scalable systems, improving CI/CD pipelines, and enforcing quality, security, reliability, and observability standards.

What you will do

Own product delivery and technical outcomes from strategy and roadmap through architecture, launch, and ongoing operation.
Lead and develop a multi-layered organization of managers, senior managers, and software engineers.
Delegate work to AI software development agents, review their output, and establish quality, security, and architecture guardrails.
Own product architecture and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines and automated delivery practices.
Drive platform reuse, leverage the enterprise data lake, and balance greenfield development with modernization of existing systems.
Set engineering standards and partner with Product, Design, Architecture, Security, and business stakeholders on priorities, delivery risks, budget, and resourcing.

Requirements

10+ years of software engineering experience, including 6+ years leading engineering teams and experience managing managers.
Track record of owning and shipping products end to end, including greenfield builds and large-scale modernization or re-platforming.
Hands-on experience orchestrating AI development agents or AI coding tools responsibly within the software delivery lifecycle.
Strong architecture and system design skills with the ability to make architectural decisions.
Deep expertise in CI/CD, DevOps, automated testing, infrastructure as code, observability, and secure delivery.
Strong people leadership, business communication, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills.
