Chemical Engineering Intern (Copper Scrap Recycling)

Location: Moab, Utah, United States; on-site

Salary: $25–$35 per hour, with final compensation based on experience, location, and other factors.

What you will do

• Assist with commissioning pilot equipment for a copper scrap recycling plant.
• Operate the pilot plant to conduct process tests and performance evaluations.
• Record and analyze process data and equipment performance.
• Collaborate with engineers, operators, and other cross-functional partners.
• Present internship outcomes and learnings.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering or Metallurgy.
• Strong fundamentals in data recording, organization, analysis, and equipment operation and maintenance.
• Hands-on experience with processing equipment.
• Ability to break down problems and execute independently.
• Clear communication and willingness to learn.
• Willingness to work both day and night shifts on-site with operators and engineers.
