Global Trade Compliance Lead

What you will do

• Serve as the global subject matter expert for trade compliance and mentor regional operating teams.
• Lead the development and continuous improvement of trade compliance policies, controls, standards, and governance frameworks.
• Oversee product classification, including HTS, ECCN, valuation, origin, export controls, sanctions, and restricted-party screening governance.
• Lead global trade audits, investigations, remediation plans, and corrective actions.
• Monitor regulatory changes and communicate their operational impact across the organization.
• Analyze Free Trade Agreement qualification, duty savings programs, and other preferential trade initiatives with sourcing, engineering, and regional compliance teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain, International Business, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 6 years of progressive experience in trade compliance, customs, import/export operations, or related regulatory compliance.
• Strong knowledge of Harmonized Tariff Classification, Free Trade Agreement analysis, process auditing, and import/export regulations.
• Experience with global trade management and enterprise systems, such as E2Open, D365, ERP systems, ACE, and SQL.
• Experience auditing import/export documentation or customs broker performance, with strong analytical, organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Must be authorized to work full-time in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
