Demand Planner

Location: Santa Ana, California, United States. Onsite 5 days per week.

Salary: $107,000–$144,000 per year, with potential additional compensation.

What you will do

• Own demand forecasting, materials planning, and inventory management across supported product lines.
• Translate forecasts into supply and purchasing signals in coordination with procurement and operations.
• Plan injection-molded components while accounting for tooling, lead times, supplier capacity, and new part introductions.
• Manage inventory health, including turns, aging, excess, obsolescence, safety stock, and reorder points.
• Build Excel and ERP-based reporting and planning tools to improve visibility and support scenario analysis.
• Incorporate logistics constraints into planning and coordinate with logistics partners on volume changes and disruptions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in demand planning, supply planning, or inventory management.
• Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel proficiency, including building tools from scratch.
• Experience working in fast-paced or resource-constrained environments.
• Ability to manage ambiguity and make decisions with incomplete data.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; employment eligibility is validated through E-Verify.

Nice to have

• Experience in multi-site manufacturing or high-growth environments.
• Knowledge of plastics manufacturing, injection molding, tooling lifecycle management, or long-lead-time components.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems, inventory working capital, lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, ISO, AS, or TS standards.
• Experience in global sourcing and international logistics.
