Demand Planner

Location: Santa Ana, CA; onsite at the headquarters 5 days per week. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.

Salary: $107,000–$144,000 per year, with potential eligibility for bonuses, commissions, or other compensation.

What you will do

• Own demand forecasting, materials planning, and inventory management across supported product lines.
• Translate forecasts into supply and purchasing signals with procurement and operations, maintaining continuity from planning through execution.
• Build planning processes, reporting, and visibility tools in Excel and ERP systems, including scenario-planning analysis.
• Plan injection-molded components around tooling, lead times, supplier capacity, new part introductions, and demand changes.
• Manage inventory health across the network, including turns, aging, excess, obsolescence, safety stock, reorder points, shrinkage, and discrepancies.
• Incorporate logistics constraints into planning and coordinate with logistics partners on volume changes and disruptions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in demand planning, supply planning, or inventory management.
• Strong analytical capability and advanced Excel skills, including building tools from scratch.
• Experience working in fast-paced or resource-constrained environments.
• Ability to manage ambiguity and make decisions with incomplete data.

Nice to have

• Experience in multi-site manufacturing and/or high-growth environments.
• Familiarity with plastics manufacturing processes and tooling lifecycle management.
• Experience supporting injection molding or manufacturing environments with long lead-time components.
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems without relying on fully mature planning modules.
• Experience working closely with finance on inventory and working capital management.
• Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, continuous improvement initiatives, and/or ISO, AS, or TS standards.
• Experience in global sourcing and international logistics.
