Demand Planner II

What you will do

• Analyze customer forecasts and trends using Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) concepts, collaborating with customers and Sales to plan and buy against forecasts.
• Prepare forecast models and assess the feasibility of forecasting requirements with customers, suppliers, Sales, and other stakeholders.
• Apply inventory management practices to assess inventory levels and aging.
• Set up and maintain programs, including part profiles, new part additions, End of Life (EOL) activities, transitions, and model changes.
• Manage assigned customer accounts or cross- and multi-supplier solutions while negotiating and collaborating with suppliers on channel and distributor policies.
• Improve supply chain processes to support profitability, sales, partner satisfaction, and shared supplier objectives.

Requirements

• Typically 3+ years of work experience with a bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience providing comparable knowledge and job skills.
• Thorough knowledge of principles, theories, concepts, practices, techniques, and standards in the relevant discipline and industry.
• Ability to develop solutions for varied situations and evaluate and analyze projects independently.
• Ability to exercise judgment and discretion, determine appropriate courses of action, and work with limited guidance on new assignments.
• Ability to collaborate with management and team members across departments and represent the department internally or externally.
