Senior Product Engineer (AI)

Location: New York, United States; on-site

Salary: $180,000–$250,000 per year plus equity

What you will do

• Turn ambiguous problems into shipped products from concept and prototypes through production.
• Own product scope, trade-offs, delivery, and production quality.
• Build end-to-end workflows across frontend and backend systems.
• Create durable, simple, and fast-to-iterate product primitives.
• Partner with design to improve interaction quality, UX details, edge cases, and reliability.
• Define success metrics and instrumentation, using data to guide prioritization and performance decisions.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience or equivalent impact.
• Meaningful ownership of full-stack products.
• Proven experience shipping products from 0 to 1 and scaling them in production.
• Strong product judgment and the ability to reason about UX, workflows, and trade-offs.
• High agency and the ability to move forward without perfect specifications.
• Strong attention to clean systems, UX quality, measurement, and iteration.
