Base pay range: $209,000–$230,000 per year

What you will do

  • Develop and optimize DC-DC converters, voltage regulators, power modules, and ASIC power delivery systems.
  • Address power integrity challenges including voltage ripple, noise, impedance mismatches, and stable voltage and current distribution.
  • Design board-level hardware that meets electrical and mechanical requirements while following PCB layout constraints.
  • Implement thermal solutions and evaluate power and system-level components for performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
  • Collaborate with component vendors and firmware, mechanical, and validation engineering teams.
  • Document specifications, schematics, and BOMs, and debug power and system issues using oscilloscopes and power analyzers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • 8–10 years of experience in power and board design engineering, focused on ASIC or high-speed digital designs.
  • Proficiency with Cadence OrCAD and Allegro for schematic capture and PCB layout.
  • Strong knowledge of power integrity, power component selection, and vendor collaboration.
  • Hands-on experience debugging power-related issues with laboratory equipment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Nice to have

  • Experience with PCIe, DDR, and USB high-speed interfaces.
  • Familiarity with EMI, EMC, DFM, thermal management, and reliability analysis.
