Senior Board Power Engineer (Networking Hardware)

What you will do

• Collaborate with hardware and design teams on power delivery strategies for switch networking products.
• Design and optimize power delivery networks and create power trees.
• Analyze power delivery performance and develop mitigation strategies.
• Perform power validation and measurements in the laboratory.
• Use advanced engineering tools and workflows to support product development from concept through bench validation.
• Serve as a focal point for power requirements and validation within a small cross-functional team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in power integrity engineering focused on high-performance computing or networking hardware.
• BSEE, MSEE, or equivalent experience in electrical engineering or a related field.
• Experience analyzing, troubleshooting, mitigating, and optimizing power integrity in the laboratory.
• Proficiency with oscilloscopes, DMMs, DC loads, Bode plots, and power measurement techniques.
• Strong knowledge of control theory, DC-DC power converters, multiphase architectures, and current-mode, voltage-mode, and constant-on-time control.
• Experience reviewing schematics and layouts with Cadence tools, documenting analyses and test results, and communicating across teams.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Python for automation and data analysis.
