Senior or Staff Hardware Design Engineer (AI)

Location: On-site in Chandler, Arizona, United States

Annual base salary: $150,000–$200,000 for Member of Technical Staff

What you will do

• Define hardware system architecture and top-level specifications.
• Lead hardware system design, integration, feasibility analysis, and risk assessment.
• Review and approve designs for architectural alignment and performance targets.
• Drive system bring-up, debugging, silicon characterization, and verification.
• Develop schematics, simulations, analyses, and design optimizations.
• Guide PCB layout and collaborate with PCB layout, PI/SI, supply chain, and customer teams.

Requirements

• Master’s or Ph.D. in electrical engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on hardware system design experience.
• Proven experience as a technical lead or system lead.
• Experience working with supply chain vendors.
• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring capabilities.
• Ability to work on-site in Chandler, Arizona.

Nice to have

• Server motherboard design experience.
• Familiarity with power delivery design and component selection for high-performance server systems.
• Strong communication skills and collaborative teamwork.
