Health and Safety Engineer (Real Estate): Developing and maintaining health and safety programs across construction projects and company operations with an accent on hazard identification, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance. Focus on conducting site audits, investigating incidents, implementing corrective measures, and training employees and subcontractors.

Location: On-site in Maadi, Egypt

What you will do

Develop, implement, and enforce health and safety policies, procedures, and standards.
Conduct safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments across construction sites and facilities.
Implement control measures to mitigate identified safety risks.
Investigate accidents and incidents, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions.
Deliver health and safety training and awareness programs for employees, subcontractors, and site personnel.
Collaborate with project teams to integrate safety into project planning and execution.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Safety Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
At least 3 years of experience in health and safety engineering, preferably in construction or real estate development.
Strong knowledge of local and international health and safety regulations and standards.
Strong risk assessment and incident investigation skills.
Effective communication, training, collaboration, and attention-to-detail skills.
Certification in occupational health and safety, such as NEBOSH or OSHA, is highly desirable.
