Legal Counsel (Data Privacy & AI)

Location: Hybrid in Hamburg or Berlin, Germany

hirify.global is building an AI-driven financial operating system for European healthcare that automates administrative workflows from patient care to billing and payments.

What you will do

• Review, develop, and implement internal data protection processes and documentation.
• Manage data processing agreements and vendor privacy reviews.
• Support new product launches by establishing the required data protection framework from the beginning.
• Advise employees, clients, and cross-functional teams on data protection matters.
• Identify and resolve data protection issues and risks.
• Ensure compliance with the legal framework for AI use in healthcare, including payment and billing processes.

Requirements

• First and second state examinations or a master’s degree in business law.
• 1–3 years of professional experience in data protection, ideally in-house.
• Strong knowledge of GDPR, BDSG, the European Health Data Space, DiGAV, and SGB V.
• Understanding of products and technology, including APIs, cloud infrastructure, and data flows.
• Fluency in spoken and written German and English.
