Electrical I&C Engineer (New Grad) (Nuclear Enrichment)

Salary: $96,000–$107,000 annually

What you will do

• Design, develop, analyze, test, and evaluate electrical equipment and systems from low-voltage DC to high-voltage three-phase systems.
• Design and analyze onsite power generation systems, including microgrids, natural gas generators, backup power, and grid interconnections.
• Evaluate electrical load profiles and energy demands to optimize power generation and distribution strategies.
• Support facility systems including grounding, lightning protection, fire alarms, circuit breakers, UPS, batteries, and transformers.
• Plan and implement electrical control systems and modifications across diverse power distribution requirements.
• Create detailed, code-compliant specifications and design documentation while supporting testing, commissioning, and production.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a similar discipline.
• Demonstrated exceptional ability through projects, portfolios, or completed products.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems architecture, circuit design, I&C systems, power systems, or grid management.
• Ability to perform trade studies and make clear recommendations using first principles and engineering fundamentals.
• Ability to work extended hours and weekends when necessary.

Nice to have

• Three or more years of electronics design experience, including research or extracurricular academic projects.
• Experience designing and analyzing electrical systems in multidisciplinary environments.
• Knowledge of applicable codes and standards, asset management, circuit analysis, simulation tools, and circuit topologies.
• Experience in fast-paced, highly technical, or resource-constrained engineering environments.
• Strong technical documentation and proactive communication skills.
