Electrical Engineer (New Grad December 2026)

Location: On-site in Los Angeles, CA; facility located in Hawthorne, CA

Salary: $110,000–$125,000 per year, depending on academic level and demonstrated out-of-classroom experience.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and test reliable electronics and printed circuit boards.
• Model and simulate circuit designs for analysis and performance evaluation.
• Contribute to electrical architecture, product requirements, component selection, schematics, prototyping, bring-up, debugging, and documentation.
• Support productization, manufacturing, and testing of factory-system electronics.
• Debug unexpected behavior using laboratory equipment, custom instrumentation, and purpose-built test setups.
• Collaborate with engineers across disciplines and manage projects from concept through completion.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or computer engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
• Hands-on electrical engineering experience through internships, engineering clubs, or similar projects.
• Strong understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals.
• Ability to use a first-principles approach to solve unfamiliar technical problems.
• Ability to work effectively with other engineering disciplines in an on-site manufacturing environment.

Nice to have

• Master’s or PhD in electrical engineering.
• Experience with industrial automation, robotics, spacecraft avionics, or high-performance electromechanical systems.
• Experience with sensors, embedded microcontrollers and firmware, FPGA hardware and software, or high-speed data acquisition.
• Experience with high-accuracy motion systems, high-speed scanning, or camera- and telemetry-based control systems.
• Evidence of strong academic performance, engineering leadership, resilience, or achievement against adversity.
