Finance Systems Manager (Fintech)

Location: City of London, United Kingdom; hybrid with 3 days in the office

What you will do

• Lead and develop the Finance Systems team, including performance management, mentoring, training, recruitment, and succession planning.
• Own the administration, roadmap, configuration, and optimisation of the AutoRek platform.
• Oversee financial reconciliations, exception management, system availability, SLAs, and resolution of complex technical issues.
• Maintain financial controls, regulatory compliance, and audit readiness across critical finance systems.
• Manage vendor relationships and partner with Finance, Operations, project managers, and product managers.
• Drive automation, process optimisation, system implementations, upgrades, and other finance transformation initiatives.

Requirements

• 6+ years of hands-on experience with financial systems, including at least 3 years leading teams.
• Strong SQL, system integration, configuration, troubleshooting, and technical delivery skills.
• Hands-on experience administering, configuring, and supporting AutoRek in a complex finance environment.
• Experience managing implementation timelines, resources, and deliverables.
• University degree in Finance, Business, Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work in the United Kingdom with regular office attendance in London.

Nice to have

• Experience designing, implementing, or upgrading finance systems solutions.
• Background in fintech, investment management, or trading, including knowledge of trade lifecycle and settlement processes.
• Experience with AutoRek, FIS Integrity TMS, or iRecs.
