Director of Trading (Fintech)

What you will do

• Own daily FX execution across more than 40 actively traded currencies, maintaining execution quality, pricing standards, and risk discipline.
• Take accountability for trading margin and P&L, managing corridor-level spreads and reporting performance attribution.
• Build and manage the liquidity-provider panel, including onboarding, benchmarking, renegotiation, and counterparty concentration management.
• Optimize corridor funding through fiat rails and stablecoin sourcing, while partnering with Treasury on pre-funding and working capital.
• Work with Operations and Compliance on counterparty risk and settlement flows, translating FX dynamics into decisions for senior stakeholders.
• Lead and develop the existing trading team and drive automation to scale the desk efficiently.

Requirements

• Proven experience running FX execution in emerging markets.
• Direct ownership of a margin or P&L target in volatile conditions.
• Experience managing liquidity providers and leading a specialist trading team.
• Strong knowledge of hedging, exposure limits, and the unit economics of cross-border payments.
• Comfort with automation, data, and modelling.
• Working knowledge of USDC and USDT as sourcing and settlement layers, with sound judgement under pressure.
