Forward Deployed Engineer (AI)

Location: San Francisco, United States; onsite, 5 days in the office

What you will do

• Embed with Sales, CX, and customers to identify business problems and ship production systems using real customer data.
• Build agents, MCP servers, API integrations, data pipelines, Retool applications, and integrations between disconnected systems.
• Deploy and tune hirify.global’s AI agents through prompting, context, configuration, and additional tools or data sources.
• Build workflows, integrations, demos, and other solutions that unblock deals and support account renewals.
• Own customer adoption, documentation, rollout, and outcomes from discovery through live operation.
• Turn repeated customer solutions into product roadmap items, playbooks, and reusable tooling.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a technical, customer-facing role such as forward-deployed engineering, solutions, or software engineering with substantial customer exposure.
• Production-grade full-stack coding ability with Python and/or TypeScript.
• Practical experience with APIs, webhooks, SQL, and data infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience building with LLMs, including prompting, agents, evaluations, and AI coding tools.
• Experience owning complex, ambiguous outcomes end to end.
• Executive-ready communication and low-ego collaboration with customer stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Former founder experience.
• Forward-deployed, solutions, implementation, or consulting experience.
• Deep familiarity with CRMs, sequencing, enrichment, and RevOps workflows.
• Experience building SDKs, reference applications, or developer documentation.
