Company
develops radar satellite systems that create high-resolution, real-time 3D maps of Earth for disaster response, infrastructure resilience, and mission-critical intelligence.
What you will do
- Develop RF electronic subsystems for radar sensors from architecture through manufacturing.
- Define RF subsystems and perform design trade studies covering noise figure, linearity, output power, stability, spurious performance, and power consumption.
- Design receive and transmit chains, switching networks, filters, protection circuitry, bias and control circuits, and timing-critical RF subsystems.
- Lead prototyping, hardware bring-up, debugging, characterization, qualification, and environmental test campaigns.
- Iterate RF designs based on laboratory and environmental testing while collaborating with RF systems, antenna, mixed-signal, mechanical, firmware, and test engineers.
- Provide technical leadership through design reviews, risk-reduction planning, and mentorship.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in electrical engineering or a related field and 4β7 years of relevant experience.
- Experience designing, bringing up, and testing electronics.
- Strong knowledge of electromagnetic theory and RF fundamentals, including S-parameters, transmission lines, stability analysis, and impedance matching.
- Hands-on experience with RF hardware such as LNAs, power amplifiers, mixers, switches, filters, couplers, and protection circuitry.
- Experience with RF modeling, simulation, schematic capture, CAD tools, and RF test equipment.
- Must satisfy U.S. ITAR requirements: U.S. citizenship, U.S. lawful permanent residence, protected-individual status, or eligibility to obtain the required authorizations.
Nice to have
- Masterβs degree or Ph.D. in electrical engineering, applied physics, or a related field.
- Experience with PLLs, VCOs, frequency synthesis, references, and low-jitter clock distribution.
- Experience with ADS, Microwave Office, HFSS, Altium Designer, Allegro, or OrCAD.
- Experience with EMC requirements, EMI mitigation, manufacturing partners, and qualification testing.
Culture & Benefits
- Full-time employment in an on-site engineering role.
- Competitive compensation with flexibility between salary and equity.
- Work on next-generation radar satellite technology for Earth observation.
- Equal opportunity employment based on merit, competence, and qualifications.
Hiring process
- Interviews are conducted via Google Meet.
- The typical process takes approximately 2β4 weeks from start to finish.
