RF Engineer

Salary: $120,000–$155,000 per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Design RF front ends and transceivers for phased arrays, transmitters, receivers, and next-generation defense products.
• Design schematics and PCB layouts for RF transceivers and high-speed circuits.
• Apply best practices to minimize and troubleshoot EMI/RFI issues.
• Validate prototype and production designs using RF and microwave test equipment.
• Integrate RF and microwave designs into aircraft and other systems.
• Analyze field performance data, debug issues, and contribute to embedded software development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
• At least 1 year of experience in RF design and development.
• Knowledge of impedance matching, Smith charts, power handling metrics, microwave network analysis, phase noise, and harmonic distortion.
• Familiarity with AWR MWO, Keysight ADS, or Genesys, as well as Altium Designer and Matlab.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced and demanding startup environment.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; access to ITAR/EAR-controlled technology may require authorization without export-license sponsorship.
