Senior Product Manager (AI)

Location: Melbourne, VIC, Australia; hybrid working combining remote work with in-person collaboration. Successful candidates must have full-time Australian working rights.

What you will do

• Lead discovery of new business opportunities and identify unsolved, high-potential problems across online marketplaces.
• Design and run experiments, tests, and pilots with real users to validate promising ideas and stop weak ones early.
• Interpret user and market signals to define actionable product bets and decisions.
• Use AI for rapid prototyping, product discovery, new business models, and AI-native product experiences.
• Balance value for buyers, sellers, and dealers while building partnerships with vendors and third parties.
• Define product vision and strategy and pitch investment cases to senior stakeholders.

Requirements

• Experience building products from scratch, ideally taking a product or business from zero to launch in a startup, incubator, or internal zero-to-one team.
• Experience shipping AI/ML-powered products or using AI to accelerate discovery, prototyping, and decision-making.
• Strong product toolkit, bias for action, and ability to work effectively with ambiguity and rapid change.
• Clear and persuasive communication skills, with experience influencing cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
• Full-time Australian working rights are required.
• A National Police Record check is required for successful candidates.
