AI Corporate Strategy Director

Location: El Segundo, California, United States

Annual salary: $185,000–$210,000 DOE, plus benefits and incentive plans.

hirify.global is a California-based embodied artificial intelligence ecosystem company developing technology-first vehicles and robots for new human-AI interaction models.

What you will do

• Design the company’s strategic roadmap, operating philosophy, organizational form, role structure, and collaboration model around its AI capabilities.
• Identify traditional business functions that can be replaced, simplified, or restructured through AI products, Agents, and automation.
• Lead the transition from human-driven processes to human and AI Agent-driven processes.
• Map the existing business, product, organizational, process, and tool landscape and redesign it with a lightweight operating model.
• Define company-level decision-making frameworks and weekly, monthly, and quarterly operating cadences with the founder and executive team.
• Collaborate directly with AI Operations, Product, Engineering, the founder, Head of Product, and Head of Engineering.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in product, strategy, or company-level operations, including at least 3 years in a core role at an AI or technology company during a 0-to-1 or 0-to-N stage.
• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
• Deep understanding of LLMs, AI Agents, workflow automation, and their capability boundaries.
• Product mindset with the ability to treat company operations as a product problem that can be defined, decomposed, and iterated.
• Proven ability to replace redundant management activities with tools and automation while maintaining lean operations.
• Ability to engage directly with executive leaders, translate trade-offs, make decisions under ambiguity, and own outcomes.

Nice to have

• Product or operations experience with AI products, especially Agents, Copilots, or automation products.
• Company-building or Chief of Staff experience in a small, high-density team.
• Familiarity with the domain of the company’s existing AI products.
• Startup experience and a strong bias toward lean organizational design.
