Sr Director, Strategy & Operations

Location: United States, with locations in San Jose, California, or Morrisville, North Carolina; hybrid work with in-office and/or in-person expectations

Salary: $266,050–$396,000 per year, plus a comprehensive benefits package and potential performance-based incentives and equity.

What you will do

• Act as the Chief Product Officer’s strategy partner, translating portfolio direction into evidence-based investment, hold, and exit recommendations.
• Shape product portfolio priorities using market, customer, financial, cost, ROI, and investment analysis.
• Evaluate capability gaps and develop build, buy, or partner recommendations with clear strategic and economic trade-offs.
• Lead the product-side corporate development agenda, including acquisition theses, target landscapes, business cases, and diligence.
• Own product-side integration of acquired businesses by merging roadmaps, rationalizing overlaps, and realizing synergies.
• Build and lead a high-performing team across product strategy, growth analysis, market intelligence, portfolio planning, strategic initiatives, and integration management.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience across product strategy, corporate strategy, corporate development partnership, and senior operating leadership in enterprise technology.
• Proven success in portfolio strategy, business transformation, and executive-level investment decisions driven by data and analysis.
• Experience leading acquisition strategy, diligence, integration, and value realization; product-side integration expertise is strongly preferred.
• Deep knowledge of technology business economics, portfolio investment, capital allocation, and growth strategy.
• Technical credibility across data infrastructure, cloud, and AI, with strong executive communication and people leadership skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field required; MBA preferred.
